Meet the owner: Jon Huckaba

Huck is a native of Carter County, Tennessee and a graduate of Happy Valley High School. He started fly fishing the Watauga River in 1995 at the age of 16. He has been a fly fishing guide and professional fly tier for over thirteen years. Huck is a Holly fly designer, his streamer patterns have proven deadly on trout, smallmouth, and stripers.  He is certified in CPR as well as Wilderness First Aid. When he isn’t fly fishing, Huck along with his wife Amy and daughter Madison attend Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
