Hey everyone, hopefully you all have been enjoying this spring. We have had a good amount of rain over the last 2 weeks which has filled our lakes up and has allowed us to have some high water fishing for the last week or so. High water on the watauga is my favorite way to fish our river. Deep nymphing, streamers and jerk baits have been very effective. Look forward to getting on the river with y’all this summer. We have also been enjoying the smallmouth bass fishing throughout May. The bite has been strong and big fish have been caught on both fly and conventional trips.
