Hey everyone, we have been hard at work this last month. We are almost here into what I believe is the best month for beetle fishing on the watauga. It is by far my favorite way to fish the river. These bugs have been producing well for us this month but we typically catch the biggest fish willing to eat on the surface in August. It is very exciting… if you haven’t committed to throwing beetles for a half day or full day before I would highly recommend giving it a shot.
