Hey everyone, hope you all are enjoying this warm weather!

It’s been beautiful here in east TN for the last week, and the rivers and lakes are starting to fish better and better as it continues to warm up. We are still on the lakes chasing striped bass and big brown trout, but the river has been exploding with life. We have seen some blue winged olive hatches on the watauga over the last couple days with many fish keyed in on the bugs. Wilbur dam has been generating every morning for an hour which gives us a good push of water for streamer fishing or conventional tackle. It also gives us the option to wait for the water to fall out for catching numbers and the possibility of seeing some rising trout. I’m sure we still have some cold weather ahead of us before spring really hits but if you have the option to get out and fish over the next few weeks I would highly reccomend it and we would love to take you out!
