Hey everyone! Hope you all have been able to get out and catch some fish this summer. It’s been a good one, and these mild temps the last few weeks have been great! We have been catching some bigger brown trout on both the watauga and south holston lately, as well as some striped bass on the watauga. Mainly doing fly fishing on the watauga (deep nymphing and beetle fishing the banks) and conventional tackle fishing on the holston. The smallmouth bass fishing has also been on fire and the top water popping bug bite is a fun one to try if you’ve never experienced it.
